NOV11BC Day 01: Write An About Me Page

If you frequent visit my blog, you would have noticed that I never put up an “about me” page until today. It is not due to privacy, but instead, I was having a hard time describing and summing up about my blog and myself in one single page.

I do understand the importance of an about me page. Every time after reading a blog post from a blog that I just visited for the first time, the About Me page is my next immediate destination. I want to know more about the blog and who’s the person behind the blog.

To the matter of fact, your about me page is just like a digital version of a resume. This is how trust and relationship were build with fellow readers in the digital world. People can identify your goals, mission, passions, stories, experiences and accomplishments. It give the sense that they had personally know you, even though both of you never physically met each other.

Let’s face it, I don’t have an about me page and I’ve neglected to write it for so long. It supposed to be done in the earlier stage, even before the blog goes live.

So today, for my first NOV11BC task, I’ve crafted a simple about me page as a start. It doesn’t have to be perfect at first. At least, it’s better than nothing. And I can always get back to it and update so it will stay current.
